The Twilight Train | 3 ½ hours | Destination: Arc Brewery and Merton (via Seacliff and Karitane)
Unwind with an evening trip along the coast! Travel up the picturesque Otago Harbour and enjoy oceanic views at twilight. Choose a stop-off at the local brewery or stay onboard for panoramic views along the coast around Seacliff.
Trip Option 1 - Scenic trip along Dunedin's harbour + Arc drop-off/pick-up
- 50 min scenic trip along Dunedin's Harbour and spot some of Dunedin’s most beautiful sites including Deborah Bay, Blueskin Bay and Pūrākaunui Beach
- Stop at the Arc Brewery to enjoy a sunset drink with the locals for up to 90 minutes before catching the train back to Dunedin when it returns from Merton
Trip Option 2 - Full 3 ½ hour scenic trip along Dunedin's coastline to Merton
- Enjoy all the scenery offered in Option 1 plus glide through the rugged coastal communities of Seacliff and Karitane while admiring twilight skies above the endless Pacific Ocean
