Wild Dunedin runs from 10-22 April 2025 and offers a wide range of fun and educational events for all ages, such as guided walks, family-friendly workshops, interactive talks, wild dining events, and more. Seating and Group Bookings
- Seating is General Admission but carriages may be allocated to improve your boarding/disembarking experience.
- If you are in a group, we recommend arriving early to find preferred seating together.
- Private carriages may be available on request if you have a group of 30+ passengers.
- Please note that Dunedin Railways does not assume responsibility for seating arrangements, service, or facilities at Arc Brewery. Any concerns or inquiries related to these aspects should be directed to Arc Brewery staff.
LOCAL tickets
- Proof of Dunedin city residency will be required at check-in (i.e. A computer-generated bill or statement that is not more than two months old and clearly shows your name and full residential address).

- No proof, no boarding pass.
Additional information
- No disembarking is permitted during the stop at Merton.
- All tickets are sold as: return fare (unless stated otherwise on your ticket), GST inclusive and subject to Terms & Conditions .
- We have limited space onboard. If you wish to travel with a bike or other large items, please contact our team to request storage space before making a booking and at least 72 hours before your preferred train trip begins.
