Traveling one-way between Pukerangi and Dunedin

We offer both return and one-way train tickets on The Taieri Gorge train.
If you are travelling one-way from Dunedin, your train will reach Pukerangi at around 11.15am.
If you are traveling one-way from Pukerangi to Dunedin, please wait at the Pukerangi station with your ticket ready to show the guard at the time indicated on your ticket.

Seating and Group Bookings

Seating is General Admission but carriages may be allocated to improve your boarding/disembarking experience.
If you are in a group, we recommend arriving early to find preferred seating together.
Private carriages may be available on request if you have a group of 30+ passengers.

LOCAL tickets

Proof of Dunedin city residency will be required at check-in (i.e. A computer-generated bill or statement that is not more than two months old and clearly shows your name and full residential address).
No proof, no boarding pass.

All tickets are sold as: return fare (unless stated otherwise on your ticket), GST inclusive and subject to Terms & Conditions.
We have limited space onboard. If you wish to travel with a bike or other large items, please contact our team to request storage space before making a booking and at least 72 hours before your preferred train trip begins.
